Fire Exit Gate Access Control

A large city-centre office requires a Car Park Fire Exit Gate to be controlled by their Paxton Access Net2 Access Control System.

The requirements are:

1, The Gate must retain its Fire Exit purpose.
2, Track Cardholders "In" and "Out".
3, The Gate must be securely Locked at all times.
4, To alert Security to Un-authorised opening of the Gate.

Our Solution included:

> Expand the existing systems with a Paxton Access Net2Plus Access Control Unit.
> 2 no. Paxton Access Metal Proximity Card Readers for Entry and Exit purposes.
> Secure the Gate with the Securitron GL1 Gate Lock, offering 907Kg Holding Force.
> The Gate to be closed by an Gate Control Gear Easy Gate Closer.
> In an Emergency situation, operating the Door Release Unit will unlock the door.
> Full Monitoring of the Door, Emergency Door Release and Lock status at Security.
